1、 Introduction to RCM Certification
RCM (Regulatory Compliance Mark) is a registration mark indicating that the supplier declares that the product complies with the safety and other requirements stipulated by the electrical safety laws and regulations of various states in Australia and New Zealand, as well as the electromagnetic compatibility requirements stipulated in the Australian Radio Communications Act and the New Zealand Radio Communications Act. Only products that comply with both electrical safety regulations and EMC regulations can use the RCM logo. As long as the supplier is approved to use the RCM logo in any state, the statutory management agencies of other states can accept it, thus achieving one approval for state passage.

2、 Australia divides the risk level of electrical products into three levels
As long as it is an electrical product, the voltage range is AC 50V~~1000V; Between 120V and 1500V DC, it must comply with the requirements of the Australian Electrical Safety Act.

Level 1 low-risk category: Certification requirements generally refer to DC power supply products (providing EMC reports to directly apply for RCM certification) (i.e. C-TICK).
Level 2 Risk Category: Certification requirements generally refer to AC power supply products (providing EMC reports, safety reports, and applying for RCM certification) (i.e. C-TICK).
Level 3 is high-risk, with a list of 56 products. Certification requirements: Refer to the checklist (provide EMC report, safety report, SAA certificate) to apply for RCM certification and EESS registration.
