On March 12, 2018, DLC (design lighting consortium) officially released the final version of technical specification v4.3, which will take effect on March 26, 2018. Compared with the draft issued on october11,2017, the newly released final version of DLC v4.3 has no major changes in the new categories, but has made changes in some details and specific requirements for testing. The major change in the formal version is that it has added a lot of space to specify the product safety requirements
DLC v4.3 changes
1. new color temperature adjustable product
DLC v4.3 adds color tunable products, including white tunable products and warm dimming products.
2.Field-Adjustable Products
3. add 0.9m, 2.4m T8 lamp category and 2G11 LED lamp cap
4. safety requirements for new products
The final version of DLC v4.3 is expanded to specify the safety requirements of the product, and puts forward detailed requirements for new product application, product update, listing application and model name verification.
